Due to old fileformats many (very old) DLL's, backk to 2000+. An installation with many registry changes and a "watch folder" service. The GOTD installer didn't work for me, so I downloaded the installer from the original site. Installed and registered with problems on a Win 10 Pro 64 bit system. It will separate the pages into individual PNG or TIFF and then you can batch them all back together and save as a PDF.

The only thing it can't do is Auto Straighten :( Also, it can't do PDF-PDF directly. crop, rezise, contrast, colour balance, hue, sharpen, blur, noise, auto-crop, auto-resize to name just a few. It has all the usual facilities you would expect IE. Especially the fact I can batch process the same enhancements to all my PDF's in one go. Personally, i've been scanning a lot of old documents into PDF recently which need white balance enhancing + other touch-ups = this GAOTD edition does the job perfectly. The lite version only includes a handful of basic formats and not the 500/55. As much as I value Karl's opinion on a daily basis I have to disagree with:- "The only difference between the “standard” and the “pro” version is the command line interface and if you don’t need the “watch folder”, than you can install the “Lite” version."
